  • This section is for honest critique of the work shown here. Members are encouraged to give and accept non-confrontational constructive criticism as well as adoring praise and everything in between.
  • In order to show case everyone's work equally, please post multiple customs on the same day into a single thread. If you have a lot of pictures of your work you may have to add them to a separate post within that thread.
  • Please do not link to a sale thread or to eBay from your critique thread. This section isn't to be used to market your finished work. The Market Place section is better suited for that purpose.

So here's some more where I just never was satisfied with the modern versions of these characters, so I decided to just make my own. Also started experimenting with washes, which turned out to be kind of hit-and-miss for me. Pretty pleased with how these turned out- stole the build for Tunnel Rat from Pugsley and made a couple of tweaks. Tracker's paint didn't go on as smoothly as the rest. I had to mix to get the colors I wanted, and maybe it ended up too thick?

That’s the head straight from the new Retro Lady Jaye. Didn’t do any work to it at all.

that mutt is perfect. what did you use for junkyard? i really like the black lab looking dog more than the rotty normally used.

I’m not exactly sure where that Junkyard came from. I found him with some of my sons toys he doesn’t play with anymore. I’m thinking maybe one of those sets from Walmart that have like a truck & atv? Adventure Force or something like that?

I bought one off ebay to customize into my dog when he was a puppy (who I assumed would get bigger... he did not. :) )
I think its a Schleich dog.
