That Orko is great! I did something similar by adding articulated arms to the Reaction one, but I like yours a lot better.

More ancient artifacts from 3d printing test shots.

First up is an assortment of terracotta relics and a couple of Egyptian vases in marble and gold with hieroglyphics.

Image

The golden obelisk uncovered at the same tomb as the vases.

Image

When the hieroglyphs were translated the obelisk began to change but no one knows the significance....

Oh, man that's awesome. Is the gold one painted over the clear green or just a different type of resin? I'm wondering how it would look if the glyphs were lit up from inside.

These are fantastic. So much detail in there.

Oh yeah. Green resin with the gold dry brushed over it so the light would pipe through.

The gold one is standard opaque grey resin, I doubt the light will shine through but I'll try it.

General Jackedbar

Picked up the POTF Ackbar somewhere and removed the head to make a well articulated version but got sidetracked when I put it on this Lanard Rampage body. Added a little detailing on the body and painted the hands to match the head.ImageImage

I took some suggestions and finally got the gold on the translucent green obelisk and then I printed a translucent red to repeat the process.

Here's the "daylight" shot.
Left to right: solid, green, and red.

Light'em up

And the unpainted versions just for comparison.
