So I realized after posting my Kingpin update that one of the figures in that Netflix Defenders wall shot hadn't been posted here before:

Iron Fist is mostly Joe parts: different Rise of Cobra Storm Shadows' torso, legs and feet with 25th Greenshirt upper arms/elbows and Hard Master lower arms/hands under a veat that I beliebe belonged to Rise of Cobra Heaby Duty (with a hood sculpted on). But that head is Mutt Williams (because I thought his naive/clueless look really fit the Netflix characterization).

I also neglected to put my Netflix Punisher in that group shot:

He's got a heavily modded Build n' Brawl head, Rise of Cobra Duke torso, some random black Joe thighs from my fodder bag with holsters grafted on, knees are a Rise of Cobra Snake Eyes (I think) with Pursuit of Cobra Snake Eyes lower legs/feet. Coat and arms are Sabretooth from X-Men Origins - Wolverine, hands are Marauder.

I know Frank and Daredevil played really well off each other in DD season 2, but if you really wanted an odd couple, Netflix's versions of Punisher and Iron Fist were about as opposite as two guys could be:

I've got some more (largely streaming show based) Marvel customs that kept me busy during quarantine and I'll add those here while I wait for my latest G.I. Joe retro customs to dry.

not seeing the show i gotta say these are pretty unique builds. any use out of the mutt head is great to see. i think i've had a ton of them, but rarely used. i've only seen iron fist as 3.75 figures that look like loki or even more stylized. i love the punisher, just really cool modern take on him. my punisher from a few yrs? ago is getting ready to hit the gallery soon.

Thanks 2Dark

Didn't even occur to me that people might not have seen the Netflix Marvel shows, so here's a reference pic of their Punisher and Iron Fist.

Thanks, Kowalski.

I really threw myself into Marvel stuff (binge-watching movies and shows) during quarantine, so the inspiration was non-stop.

The next two come from the Black Widow solo movie, which was a big hit in my house:

Yelena Belova, Natasha Romanoff's sort-of sister and successor Black Widow is a pretty straightforward Marauder build with just a few paint apps and some Joe/MU accessories.

Red Guardian was a lot more work and had multiple part donors. His head was a 1:18 Legends Civil War Captain America with a green stuff sculpted beard. Arms and legs are from Resolute comic-pack Destro (with the lower legs and feet of Cap movie Bucky grafted on at the calves). Torso is Rise of Cobra Heavy Duty. Hands and belt are from different MU figures. The shield came from the same figure as the head and the details on that (and his chest) are a combination of molded green stuff and folded plastic tape.

Here's a shot of them with my MCU Taskmaster custom, which I posted right before the movie came out:

Great set you've made.

Iron Fist doesn't get made by too many, so it's good to see the Netflix version get some representation. The head works well, too. I actually liked the show/character, but it suffered from coming in behind so many other shows that had similar aesthetics.

The Heavy Duty torso for Red Guardian is perfect, too.

So moving chronologically, next up on my tour of Quarantine customs is (are) The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

Sam Wilson as Captain America was built on the comic pack 1:18 Legends base body. Head is from the 1:18 Legends Civil War Falcon. Lower arms are comic pack "Temple Guardian" Storm Shadow with MU Bleeding Edge Iron Man hands. Lower legs below the calves are 25th Tomax with 25th Steeler feet. Shield came woth the base figure, wings with the head.

Bucky uses a cast head (maybe from SmallJoes?) On a Rise of Cobra Storm Shadow torso with one 30th Cobra Trooper arm and one MU Wintwr Soldier arm with an Iron Man hand. Upper legs are a 25th Cobra Legions Commander with lower legs/feet from an MU 3-pack Starlord.

Here they are doing the promo postwr pause:

the figure in all black really speaks to me. i could see many different characters use that recipe. a great start for a mad max or ghost rider.

Thanks guys.

I've got two more from that series.

First one is Zemo, because I just really like the way they didn't kill him in Civil War and, in this series, showed his potential as a bonafide supervillain in the making:

And of course he has an alternate masked head, too:

Then we've got John Walker in his US Agent persona. I have to admit, he was never my favorite comic book character, but the show made me relate to and even care about him:

Thoughts?

Yep, that's Stalk Eyes' (the alternate reality love child of Snake Eyes and Stalker?) torso all right.

Zemo's also sports some Agent K arms, Fortnite coat and 1:18 ML Hyperion head and Chameleon legs/feet.

US Agent is the 1:18 ML Cap head on a Retaliation Cobra Commander body with Rise of Cobra Snake Eyes arms, MU Cap hands, FSS Sand Scorpion thighs with some HiSS Driver legs and Retaliation Night-Viper feet.
