LASHER was just about born to be a DREADNOK. She took being selfish and mean spirited and has turned it into a criminal career. She’s too cruel and unpredictable to belong anywhere else but with her fellow misfits of mayhem. All the things she’s good at are because she’s bad. She’s a killer driver, but that’s just because she’s so reckless and dangerous when she gets behind the wheel. And the DREADNOKs have begun to rely on her to get information out of targets, but that’s because she can stomach the ruthlessness it takes to make someone talk, and do it with a laugh.

LASHER is the type of person who was able to impress a crew that uses chainsaws, welding torches, and metal tearing contraptions as offensive weapons and got them to think, "Sure, she adds something to this group we could use." And she did it with a wicked grin and some strips of leather.

The DREADNOKs are some of the most uncouth, socially unredeemable individuals in the entire world, all gathered together in a swamp hopped up on chocolate doughnuts, grape soda and motorcycle fumes. When they move next door to you, your lawn dies. And even within this tight knit group of social deviants, somehow MIC CHECK is able to be the most annoying out of the entire bunch.

He’s such a propaganda and disinfo machine that no one knows where he really comes from, whether or not he played the second stage at Fyre Fest Sierra Gordo, if his sister is really Stormer from the Misfits, if he once played in a chamber orchestra with HEAVY DUTY or if he used to date Satin and inspired her hit song "The Cobra Who Got Away.” What most DREADNOKs do know is that they really wish he would shut up, but he’s under ZARTAN’s protection for what can only be a very strange and mysterious reason.

PISTOL-WHIP would be far more of a threat if she just wasn’t so lackadaisical. She is completely without ambition or motivation, a drifter who just follows whatever impulse she feels or shiny object that catches her eye… but only if she isn’t too busy kicking her spurs up. She gets along with the DREADNOKS because they don’t ask too much of her other than throwing any aggression she can muster at their enemies. She’s good with a six shooter and whip, from when she did old west reenactments until she got bored and just walked away from it.

Often people mistake PISTOL-WHIP’s nature as charming and laid back. Her lack of priorities means very little bothers her, and sometimes that comes across as almost cool-headed or composed. But those people find it far less charming when they realize she just doesn’t care about anything or anyone, and will treat them as such if they have something she wants.

KODIAK couldn't get out of the city fast enough. The first time he went hiking as a kid, just exploring the outdoors, he was hooked. He'd save up his lawn mowing money to go to wilderness camps, and by the time he was teenager he was an expert camper. He spent more and more of his time outdoors, among nature and its inhabitants. When he added military training to his already extensive experience, he was a perfect fit for G.I. JOE.

"I've learned to trust my team, even when they bring me some pretty unconventional asset requests. I've signed off on wolves, birds, wild cats… all sorts of unique work animals that have proven to be useful. But even I had to pause when KODIAK submitted his request to bring GRIZZ into the JOE menagerie. He'd rescued GRIZZ from an abandoned bear trap when he was just a cub. The mama bear had moved on with the rest of her cubs, and KODIAK tracked the little guy from afar until it was clear he wasn't going to make it in the wild. But GRIZZ never took to wildlife rehabilitation, and was bonded to the person who saved him. So now we've got a bear on the team that plays like a dog, works like a pack mule, and fights like… well… a bear."

On her watch, no one misses a beat.

RICOCHET was a promising young Olympic-hopeful, specializing in pistol shooting. Poor sportsmanship and a series of bad decisions lost her scholarships and sponsors, and she drifted aimlessly until COBRA recruited her. Like a lot of the lost that COBRA collects into its army, she blames the world for all her missed opportunities and failures, refusing to acknowledge her own mistakes. She's happy to help COBRA wreak havoc on a world she thinks failed her.

RICOCHET has never shot a sniper through their own scope. She's never blasted an incoming bullet out of the sky with her own fire. She's never used a well placed shot to cut a rope. What she has done is put just about 100% of the shots she's taken exactly where she wants them to go. No tricks, no magic, no impossible physics. She's put in the time and the training with her shooting, and now she's passing those skills on to the rest of COBRA. And that's one of the worst kind of snakes... the ones that make all the rest more dangerous.

Their SPINNER packs not only vastly enhance their climbing and fighting abilities, but can also be deployed as autonomous sentinel drones. WEB VIPERS wear an advanced grappling gauntlet in lieu of carrying traditional firearms.
