Has anyone used 'The Army Painter" brand of paint that is sold on Amazon?

Yup, they're useful. I used the Barbarian Flesh on my Deadpool and Punisher.

I've heard that the Rustoleum Automotive primer works about as well as the Army Painter sprays and other high end miniature primers. I can't confirm because I have never used Army Painter, but I've been very happy with how the Rustoleum performs on vehicles, but I haven't tried it on figures yet. It's only 4 bucks a can and you can get it at Walmart so it's worth a try.

Rustoleum primer is pretty good on solid plastic parts. Where Army Painter really shines in comparison though is that it coats and dries well on the softer modern plastic and even the rubbery vests and coats. Stuff that I've had chip off or never really dry using other paints, come out looking production with it.
