I was at Joanne Fabrics earlier this week and found they were carrying a line of animal skeletons for Halloween. Besides cats, dogs, mice, bats, rabbits, T-Rex skulls, and T-Rex skeletons, they also had a snake skeleton that was over 3 foot long.

The T-rex.

As for the snake, only the head (and first two vertebrae) are harder plastic, the body is like a giant bendy toy. That's a Ready Player One figure for reference.

Notice the screws. My first thought was to see if I could get a Golobulus torso to fit on it. Considering the size, I might look into a bigger torso.

Was originally $20, but it was on sale for $12.

I'm thinking anyone with decent modding skills could get one of these T-Rex skeletons, then add molding compound take make it look like it was decomposing and been eaten.Appears to be about the same size as the big T-Rex from the JW:FK line currently on the shelves.

There's a Cobra one too. They're pretty awesome.
