I know GP #49 has just been announced, but I'm also looking forward to GP #50: will that be like the NJC #50? Meaning it'll be a celebration GP, you can make new entries for the past 49 GP subjects.
I really hope so. I stepped into customizing way too late and I know there are quite a few very cool GP's that I would've participated in if I had known about this place earlier......

That's a great idea. I'm in!

Let's nominate the idea next round.

GP #29: Second Chances

Seems like a great idea for GP #50. Might get more participation that way. I know the NJC #50 had a huge turn out due to the wide open nature of the project.

Thanks for nominating this, Ronin!
Also, this way people would be able to finish unfinished customs that were meant to be made for a certain GP, but didn't make it in time.
People that joined this site later could still participate and make customs for earlier GP's. For example, I started customizing around GP #36, but I'd wish I started way before then, I've got a lot of ideas for the pre-#35 subjects.

Your very welcome. #50 is a special milestone so this made a lot of sense to nominate.

I like this idea. I also got on the GP bandwagon late (started with Adventure Team). I looked at the list of previous GPs and there are a good half-dozen that I'd like to explore. One question/comment, it might be fun if participants had to announce, in the progress thread, which GP they want to revisit?

Sorry to ask a silly question, but, is NJC No Joe Challenge (or custom)?

Challenge ... as in 'it's a challenge to take someone else's idea & complete a new custom under time and/or construction constraints'

So, we can enter figures from any Group Project ever done?

Yes, that would be the idea.

Oh good, I've got some Ideas rattling around in my head from a while back. I'm assuming there's claiming involved...

Hopefully not. If there is claiming and two people want to do the same project, it sort of defeats the purpose of the GP doesn't it?

Yeah I would say no claiming as far as which project you draw from. As far as claiming within that particular project, I think it would be hard to manage with 49 GPs and not all of them requiring claiming. I'd say if you are in doubt about what you are working on already being done by someone else then post about it in the Progress thread. Otherwise I say fair game on anything done so far.
