CC4:D13 - Create a TRU-style 5 or 6 Pack #13

This is kind of like virtual customizing. Here's the "game":

- Each day I'll post the name for a new G.I.Joe Toys R Us-style ARAH/New Sculpt 6 pack or 25th style 5 pack.
- Based off of the name, you decide which faction it is and what figures would be included in the set.
- Post the names of the figures and the parts that would be used for each.
- Let's try to keep this as realistic as possible. Thus, don't have more than one "new" piece on the parts lists. Stick with existing molds.
- Try to only use parts that we know that Hasbro has.
- For ARAH, I suppose you could list a balljoint head for a straight head torso (since they did mod one in the GreenShirt set).
- Feel free to list what colors characters would be.

Today's name is: Dreadnoks on the Loose

Okay, I'm going to be a little self-centered on this Dreadnoks set. I came up with a custom Dreadnok once, made from a repainted Street Fighter Guile figure, and named him SLAGG. I'd put him in this ARAH set.

Now, I think Torch, Buzzer, and Ripper have been pretty well done over, so to this set I would also add:

MONKEYWRENCH, THRASHER, CRUSHER, DEMOLISHOR, and ZANDAR, who's never had a second version.

I'd redo the trousers on everybody so that it was a molded-in "acid-washed" jeans look -- sort of like what the 1993 Cross Country figure had.

Or do something a little different -- drop Crusher and Demolishor, and make it a four-pack with a Dreadnok Motorcycle, and something other than that three-wheeled one they had. Maybe a recolored Silver Mirage?

Let's be fair, the 25/RoC style needs more Dreadnoks so with that in mind, I'm going to take a crack at this.

Demolisher: Slightly modified Serpentor head (mainly an eyepatch but also possibly scowling), Gung Ho v1 torso, Copperhead v2 arms, Ripper legs. Paint him like the JoeCon version. Equip him with a Gung Ho v1 vest, a Range Viper grenade launcher and Snow Serpent AK-47.

Thrasher: Tomax v1 head, Zartan v1 torso (modified slighty to remove the fabric detal on the lower part of the torso), Gung Ho v1 arms, Air Viper legs. Paint him up like the original. Equip him with a Crimson Guard revolver and a Snake-Eyes v1 Uzi.

Zandar: Specialist Trakker head, Beachhead v1 torso and arms, and Ripper legs. Paint him to look like the DDP version. Equip him with the Chuckles shoulder holster, a Spirit v1 dart rifle, a Lt. Falcon knife, and the RoC Pit Commando silenced pistol

Zarana: Lady Jaye v2 head, Lady Jay v1 torso, RoC Cover Girl arms and legs. Paint her with the same color palate as the original version. Equip her with an Alley Viper machine gun and a Snow Job revolver.

Road Pig: New sculpt head, Gung Ho torso, Copperhead v2 arms, and Zartan v1 legs with kneedpads obscured either with paint or just removed. Paint him up like the original version. Equip him with a Roadblock v2 machine gun and ammo belt.

Zarana: Agent Helix head, 25th Scarlett torso and upper arms, diver Baroness lower arms, Agent Helix legs, Spy Troops Zarana belt. Black pants, flesh mid drift, pink upper torso with black shoulderpad, flesh arms with black gloves, black belt w/silver buckle, pink straps on legs, Munitia pistol.

Zandar: New head, 25th Alpine torso, 25th revised Zartan upper arms, 25th SE v.1 lower arms, 25th SS v.1 upper legs, 25th CG lower legs. Pale gray pants, black boots and gloves, cobra blue long sleeved shirt, black shoulder armor, black Copperhead shoulder harness, Zartan pistol.

Road Pig: 25th Serpentor torso and legs, R.o.C. Heavy Duty arms, new head, original gear. Black shirt and pants, black boots with silver accents, black shoulder pads with silver accents, gunmetal black and flat pale gray “hammer”.

Burnout: Modified Burnout head, 25th Roadblock torso, R.o.C. arctic SS arms, 25th Wild Bill upper legs, 25th Night Creeper lower legs, new chain/barbwire harness, original belt, 25th Flint v.1 shotgun. Gray shirt, black arm wraps/gloves, blue pants w/black chaps, black boots with silver drybrushing, silver harness, black belt and shotgun.

Thrasher: Modified comic 3 pack Serpentor head, 25th Zartan v.1 upper torso, 25th Quick Kick lower torso, 25th Tomax arms, 25th Zartan upper legs, 25th H.I.S.S. driver lower legs, original lacrosse stick. Black and gray torso armor, black pants and left glove, gray leg pad and right glove, black boots with silver padding.

Gnawgahyde: New head, 25th Recondo hat, 25th Gung Ho torso and arms, 25th Clutch legs, Hard Master bow & arrow/s, 25th Lady Jaye backpack, new vest, original rifle. Painted the same as original.

Hm. Since I don't think the classic Dreadnoks would fit well in ROC, I'm going to go another direction.


While on leave, two Joes get drinks at a bar and get tangled up in a brawl with a trio of very nasty bikers.

Backstop: Matt Trakker head (it has to be good for SOMETHING!), Sgt. Stone body.

Clutch: 25th Lift-Ticket head (with sprayed-on stubble!), ROC Hawk torso and arms, ROC Breaker legs, new tool belt.

Thrasher: Tunnel Rat head, Alpine torso, Copperhead arms, ROC Storm Shadow legs, 25th Gung-Ho vest.

Ripper: 25th Ripper head, 25th Roadblock torso, ROC Heavy Duty arms, ROC Destro legs, Paris Pursuit Snake-Eyes trenchcoat.

Road Pig: ROC Heavy Duty head (caucasianized), legs and vest, Resolute Roadblock torso and arms.

Accessories: Chairs, breakaway tables, breakaway jukebox and drinks.

All dressed in bright orange, a group of Dreadnoks have escaped from a correctional facility and are on the loose.

Monkeywrench


Mutt and Spirit, and their accompanying animals are tracking down the Dreadnoks. Both of them are in a green military uniform.

The Drednoks search for a Joe who damaged a storage facility...

In 25A/ROC style

Thrasher. Head: Chuckles w/black hair. Torso and upper legs of 25A Storm Shadow w/padded Cobra Commander shin guards and Mutt arms. Miscellaneous gear across chest. Colored in black w/ brown wash to emulate weathered leather.

Buzzer. 25A figure colored to match Thrasher.

Monkeywrench. 25A figure colored to match Thrasher.

Zanzibar. Head: unmasked Wetsuit w/orange hair. Upper body of ROC Hawk (leather jacket). Gung Ho legs. Colored to match Thrasher, but with blue shirt w/silver Drednoks logo.

Ripper. 25A figure colored to match Thrasher.

Freefall. Head: Blowtorch head w/blonde hair. Body: Battle-damaged Snake Eyes body in camo green, exposed/torn parts painted as thermals. Same gear as Altitude.
