Today's new profile is of the 2004 Ninja Strike Vypra figure. There were two Vypra sisters in the set who were not related to the 1998 character. This version features intricate paint masks, but a redundant base color.

Today's new profile is of the 2005 Heavy Assault Squad Snake Eyes figure:

https://forgotten--figures.blogspot.com ... -eyes.html

The set in which he was included was a retail dud. But, this Snake Eyes has some redeeming qualities and is worth adding to a collection.

Today's new profile is of the 1993 Frostbite figure:

https://forgotten--figures.blogspot.com ... tbite.html

This guy was a key figure for me as I chased down the last retail Joes in the mid 1990's. He's less important to me now. But, the figure is still pretty decent.

Today's new profile is of the 2004 Cobra Infantry Trooper:

https://forgotten--figures.blogspot.com ... ooper.html

This figure's significance has diminished since his release. But, he is an example of a solid remake that actually aligned with collector desires of the time.

Today's new profile is my favorite Red Laser Army figure: the General.

https://forgotten--figures.blogspot.com ... ctory.html

This is a perfect update for an early style Hawk and helps to make him stand out more like an officer of his caliber.

Today's new profile is of the Funskool Tunnel Rat figure:

https://forgotten--figures.blogspot.com ... l-rat.html

This is a surprisingly fun repaint of a major character. But, he's gotten rather pricey. Probably too pricey for what he is.

Today's new profile is of the 1982 JUMP playset.

https://forgotten--figures.blogspot.com ... -pack.html

The JUMP is just a great, self contained toy that added incredible play value to the early Joe line.

Today's new profile is the 2006 Gas Mask Trooper:

https://forgotten--figures.blogspot.com ... ooper.html

While I'd have preferred a BAT to be part of the pack for this comic, the Gas Mask Trooper is an obscure treat.

Today's new profile is of the factory custom Steel Brigade:

https://forgotten--figures.blogspot.com ... ustom.html

With vintage Steel Brigades being somewhat pricey, these factory customs were a great way to build up a Joe army. The slightly different colors always made me think of this guy as a Brazilian Steel Brigade figure, too.

Today's new profile is of the 2005 Comic Pack Serpentor:

https://forgotten--figures.blogspot.com ... entor.html

While the head underneath the helmet of this figure isn't great, it was nice to get a Serpentor with that feature.

Today's new profile is of the 1991 Cloudburst figure:

https://forgotten--figures.blogspot.com ... burst.html

The yellow and white color scheme obscures a figure with a lot potential. But, it was never realized and the figure dies in obscurity.

Today's new profile is the 1993 Ninja Force Scarlett:

https://forgotten--figures.blogspot.com ... rlett.html

It was nice to see a classic character return...even in '90's neon glory.

I love that headsculpt. I've seen it used on lots of customs and I'm always surprised how good it looks away form that body.

Today's new profile is of the 1989 Python Patrol Crimson Guard figure:

https://forgotten--figures.blogspot.com ... guard.html

Generally, I like Python Patrol. But, this figure has never really been relevant to me.
