Are those something you want?...I suspect the person who made them not having any in their ebay store is a clue to how well they sell.

Hi Nova,

Question for you:

I'm going to start molding/casting my own joes by taking apart/unscrewing some of my own joes, but I have a question:

There are, as you know, 4 rivets in the elbows and shoulders.

I know I can just drill out the rivets to take apart the arms, but once I'm done casting a new joe and it's time to put the custom joe together, what size rivets should I purchase to put in the custom joe?

If I heard correctly, no ones really figured out a proper size of the rivet but apparently you know of a way to re-rivet the arms/shoulders.

Have any advice before I start?

Thanks in advance!

-Sin

As far as I'm aware, there is no off the shelf product to buy.

I don't know the sizes, I have a friend with a tool shop who's done the leg work in getting metal rivets... I just go in and push the button on the CnC machine...

i actually got a link from someone in a PM.

http://www.microfasteners.com/home.php?cat=665

he said those were the ones to get/use.

now i just need to find a rivet gun/press to use those.

Cool casting! Do you have plans for do antennas for 1990 GI Joe Hammer vehicle? I've been thinking about ideas for a 1987 Defiant, 1985 USS Flagg to have repro parts when originals are no so easy to find in one piece.
