More information and images available at my site for those interested!

I'll try to get the video up online soon, and add the banners to the file repository!

It's be no means finished in my eyes, but I had to get to a presentable point for my sculpture class. Looking forward to continuing to refine it!

UPDATE!
Got the video uploaded, seems like it took all day but it should still be pretty high resolution. It was made in After Effects. The building the UAV shot is focused on is the fine arts building at the University of Houston, where my sculpture class is held. Static during the text portion is the spoken part of the old cartoon intro, garbled and streched to sound like radio static. The rest of the audio is a number station recording.

Check it out here.

It's repetitive and short at this point, but will be extended and build upon as I build the display out further!

Thank you! I'll work on it, the problem is it's too large for my photography set up! But will definitely be heavily photographed by the time I'm done with it. :D

Very cool. Love that you found a practical/plausible use for that playset. The idea of Joes in space had never worked for me.

Wow. This is beautiful work. And a clever adaptation of parts. Outstanding work!

Oh, that is awesome! Great Dio. Really very cool. Only down side is it's to large to ship to me so I can use it for a scene or two.

oh yeah, that's a winner. I love that you made the video to play on the monitor also. Have thought about something like that in a large control room kind of dio setting, but my dio plans are all just wishful thinking at this point. Good to see you take the leap though.

Thanks guys, really appreciate the feed back. If anyone has any elements a good missile silo would need, I've actually got some space to expand it (it's about 2' deep). I'll be adding some walkways for sure, and maybe two side blastdoors.

But yeah, the bulk of it is the back of the Defiant bay and the two fold out elevator sections, both completely disassembled to single pieces (they don't have the dark blue outer shell).

I LOVED my Defiant as a kid, but don't need a giant space shuttle complex in my collection these days, so it's getting parted out. :)

Computer stations. Think War Games or NASA computer stations to control and track the missiles. Briefing room for the high command to talk privately. Security cameras. Hell a regular camera so the Commader can show the world how dangerous Cobra's threat is. And a coffee station. :shifty:

Great use of that "vehicle" that is crazy awesome.
