Blue Lasers

(Hope it's okay to start a thread for any Blue Laser members who want to make customs based on our team, to keep all our forces in one place.)

COBALTs - Blue Laser Heavy Armor

COBALTs (which probably stands for something awesome) are the muscle of the Blue Laser military. Formidable mechanized units, each packs a trio of devastating lasers that can track individual targets, or focus into a single, powerful beam of destruction.

It's actually just got the head removed, and the torso turned so the back faces front, and the right and left arms swapped. I was actually fooling around with the Hulk Buster figure, seeing if it could work as a torso for Hund Dread from Robo Force, when I noticed how awesome the back was... and I've had two Iron Mongers sitting around for a while. Super pleased with how it came out.

Yup. LEGO hoses, and light sabers for the small shoulder cannons.

Combined
Operating
Ballistic
Armored
Laser
Tactician

:) I'll check out the pics when I get home.

Not bad! The C and O are the hard part, for me. Combining some of yours with what I was thinking C? O? Battle-Armored Laser Trooper... I was playing with the idea that they're actually piloted/powered by the remains of Blue Lasers fallen in combat, so C could be Cyborg.

I was staring at the pictures trying to figure out what parts you used to cover the head and chest. Using the back of the upper torso is GENIUS. Like Hawking level brilliant.

I'd like to see the back of these guys just to see how you addressed the chest unibeam and such.

Gonna tweak that just a little bit to Cybernetically Operated Battle Armored Laser Trooper and call it done. Thanks for the suggestions, Lev and sgcaper!

Honestly, I just hid it. I used an xacto to slice off the protruding section, and used the Wet-Suit pack to hide the neck hole, obscure the chest sculpt, and cover most of the remaining unibeam shape. I rushed it a bit since it was the back, but it's mostly hidden.

Too cool, looks like scaled down Mech's from Pacific Rim.
