Has there been any though put into selling individual body parts down the road? Like if I wanted to buy 5 pairs of the blank female legs, and three pairs of blank male arms, would that be a possibility? Or is that just not a viable option?
Great question.

We did discuss Perseus a number of times. We really feel that to do that character justice he would need some additional tooling that we aren't doing just yet. We'd want him togas and lace up sandals and to have unique weapons. So he got put in our "long term parking lot" until we revisit the greek theme (which we hope to do). As for his likeness...I doubt we'd be able to use a specific actor and we's probably look at classical art and create something new for him.
Sparticus is another possibility for sure down the line. We'd also like to hit up some of the Gods and Demi-Gods like Zeus, Athena, Hercules, Artemis, etc. But we'd like to tool up some larger (but still human like proportions) bodies for some of them.

Also - love this answer too. Having variations in body types/sizes will really open up the story telling that can be done with this line.
Question 1 - I know that a certain part of the early success will come from maximizing the use of each new tooling - but are there any other mythical monsters you've looked at which could be made around a core blank which itself might fit different themes? Something that could fit into wave 1's theme, but not be wasted on that set alone? Adding sci-fi accessories to pretty much any mythical monster might make them fit into a retro sci-fi verse, for example.
My bigger question is - how do these figures stack up size-wise, within the various 4" scales out there? By that, I mean I usually treat modern Joes as a normal human scale, where the average height is at or just under 4" literally (6 feet tall). I consider the standard Marvel Universe figure to be say a "hero" scale, where most all of the male figures exceed 4" (though still within that scale).
So - I guess will the male buck you are using fall literally at 4" tall? I haven't seen any pics yet comparing them to either Joes or MU to get a handle on how I might best make use of these guys.
