Time to spin the wheel, roll the dice, and let the fates direct you:

Using the random custom generators at random-generator.com you get a roll of the dice and five choices. You must choose one of them and paint and name it exactly as the generator creates it. Note that you will have to copy and paste your random figure/team/vehicle description into a pm to the project organizer so that you don't lose it - the page doesn't keep them.

You may choose up to 2 of the random figures or vehicle generators or one small team. Any style and any body type are acceptable. Non joe parts may be used. LBC's as long as they meet the color scheme requirements are acceptable.

Joe Figure:

Cobra Figure:

Existing: http://www.random-generator.com/index.p ... _Generator
New: http://www.random-generator.com/index.p ... _Generator

Joe Vehicle:

Special team:

http://www.random-generator.com/index.p ... _Generator

Other Rules for Figures and Vehicles:

1. The figures do not have to be repaints, but can be if you wish.
2. You do not have to have all the accessories named by the generator, but may only choose from the generated list.
3. You may only use the colors indicated in the description.
4. If everything that comes up absolutely sucks, you may have one (1) additional roll.
5. The definition of terms like dull, ugly and neon are in the eye of the beholder

Rules for Special Teams

1. Packaging is optional
2. You may drop up to one of the team members identified by the generator
3. Extra figures identified in the generator are also optional
4. You do not have to have all the accessories named by the generator, but may only choose from the generated list.
5. They do not have to be repaints, but can be.
6. You may re-imagine the character that goes with the codename (like doc, dial tone, airborne v2 were)

For what it is worth, this, IMO, is the spirit of Group Projects.

I hope this wins one day.

Four words for you Chad:

Destro - King of Scotland....

When all other ideas are exhausted.

When no further alternatives are considered.

The randomness will have its day!

Woot. Just learned of this today... so cool.

I think the real challenge here is to make the colors work for the figure

Hope this becomes a GP some day

General Fridge: This figure has a sculpted on mask and is dressed primarily in dark tan and light green with an ugly shade of blue highlights. Figure includes: computer, machine gun, armored vest, nunchucks and sword. The figure is first available online and later offered as an online exclusive

This is great. I can have a Fridge that's also the leader of Ninja Force!

Raptor laid out a great explanation and rules already for this. I added the 9/24 deadline. Have at it.

Cool, this GP idea finally made it!

Stupid question about the rules above: not that I would do it, but one could easily adjust the description in his favour if we just have to copy/paste a description. Is this in good faith? Or do we need to make screen shot of the description page? Should we PM it to Raptor, Pluv or the submissions email address?

Just noticed there's also a "New Character Generator" and a "Cobra Trooper Generator": http://www.random-generator.com/index.p ... y:G.I._Joe
Can we use those as well?

Btw, who made these nice G.I.Joe themed generators? Was it a JC member?

Sorry for all these questions...

Good faith is fine. If for some reason you end up veering off for artistic preference, put why in the description.

I'm not sure if Raptor had a hand in it or if he just found it. Wiki page history doesn't mention any names I recognize, but that doesn't mean someone from here didn't request it way back when. http://www.random-generator.com/index.p ... on=history

I have been summoned from the abyss by JM70.

When I left, I gave him the magic words that summon me. 5 years after submitting an idea it finally came to pass, so JM70 Spoke aloud the words three times on Facebook, and brought me through the portal.

So I am back in the game. I'll be submitting for this one.

Two quick answers -

1. As Pluv said, we trust you to do what you are given.
2. I had nothing to do with the site. It was created by someone that I don't know for a purpose that I can not fathom. It also seems to have been abandoned by its creator, so we may never know more about them. This GP honors that effort.

Looking forward to seeing what you guys can do with this. Make me proud.

- R
