Crackback

I created this character back in high school. I thought if the Fridge and Capt Grid Iron are joining the Joe team, what football player'd be next? Therefore, I present Crackback

The head is from Deep Six (v2), with a helmet painted black attached to it. The torso is from Flint, the arms are from Outback, and the legs and waist are from Roadblock (v1). I painted his shirt sleeves black, his ammo belts brown, his hair brown, and the green highlights on his legs black. His weapons are Lowlight's (v2) rifle - with the scope broken off, and a repainted Airborne (v1) rifle.

Light Infantry:
Code Name: Crackback

 Name: Nickson, Christopher F.
Primary Military Specialty: Infantry
Secondary Military Specialty: Special Services
Birthplace: Hackensack, New Jersey
Rank: O-2

Crackback grew up as the best wide receiver in New Jersey. His speed in the forty yard and ambidexterous hands got him football scholarships, but his heart and desire got him into West Point. A wide receiver on the Army football team, Crackback was responsible for most of Capt Grid Iron's touchdown passes. Upon graduation, he went on to engage in classified operations in a who's who of hot spots around the world. Deciding he needed more action in his life, joined the G.I.Joe team.

When the running back runs a sweep to the outside, it's the outside linebacker's job to contain the back and make the play. But when he steps up to make the play, that little puny wide receiver that lined up way out of the way comes charging in and nails the linebacker in the back sending him to the turf. That's just what Crackback does in a firefight - he moves out to the side, then just when you can't see him anymore, he comes running back, cracks back, and sends Cobra to the turf just like one of those outside linebackers.
