One of the things I wanted to challenge myself this go around was not doing straight "redo" of the classic look of some of the more "extreme" looking figures. I wanted to add a slight change to them, updating them but keeping them inline with their original looks. What I was going for here was I wanted a gypsy/Rasputin feel to Crystal Ball. The big smile of the file card art was never something that really resonated with me, so I went for the more creepy guy who I don't ever want to meet feel.
