The only reason I wanted the POC Quick-Kick was for the gloves. But after reading some comments and seeing how similar the uwagi was to the Cobra Kai's version from "The Karate Kid" I decided to use it for this LBC.

I needed a thin torso and the plain, black torso of Rapid Fire seemed appropriate. I then needed bare arms and with a Mortal Kombat movie edition Liu Kang torso available, I took those. The 2000 Destro waist matched the red of the uwagi and the Quick-Kick legs were obvious.

I had always intended to use the Argentina bootleg Johnny Quest head, but I soon realized it would be necessary. The uwagi could not be placed on the ARAH torso with the head already attached and it would be tough if not impossible to screw the torso together after the fact without damaging the uwagi. So the "Jhony Ques" head worked out for the best since it can be popped on or off due to its round neck ball joint and still stay secure
