I wanted an original character for Cobra, so working with some leftover parts at hand, I started to pick out what would go together to make a neat-looking character. All the parts listed above went together pretty smoothly, after painting everything a dark Sea Blue (Tamiya paints) - except for Gung Ho's forearms into Duke's upper arms. To make those fit, you need to apply a bit of filler, because the pegs for Gung Ho's forearms are a lot smaller than Duke's. I touched up the buttons, belt, leg harness, pouches and elbows with semi-gloss black, as well as added some fingerless gloves. This figure will probably get some better equipment in the future, and maybe another head.

As for a bio; nobody knows what Cobra does with these guys in their employ. Intelligence can only guess who these guys are, what their motivation is or what they do. Speculation points to everything from high profile assassinations to starting coups in third world countries. No field agents have ever survived (supposed) contact with these mercenaries, though most field agents who "disappear" are assumed to have met their fate at the hands of these operatives.
