Helmet: Cast H.E.A.T. Viper
Bazooka: VvV something (originally H.E.A.T Viper)

The C.L.A.W.S. make up my Cobra anti-armor forces, but when I received the H.E.A.T. Viper helmet in a random pack of cast helmets, I couldn't resist. The balaclava-wearing XD figure allows for some individuality in my Cobra forces, too.

When a 'Blueshirt' C.L.A.W.S. sees enough combat (and survives!) to get a Python upgrade, he or she has the option to utilize the 'throwback' helmet of the H.E.A.T. Vipers. While the helmet allows a far greater accuracy than the bazooka system provides on its own, it does dramatically reduce the C.L.A.W.S.' peripheral vision, leaving the Viper more vulnerable to flanking and sneak attacks.

Typically, only C.L.A.W.S. troopers who have secured a Viper partner they can trust to watch their back will adopt the throwback system: those who do post the best kill ratios and share their bonuses for saving ammo with their support teams. Those who do not have a trusted support team suffer the highest mortality rate of the C.L.A.W.S., even higher than the Blueshirts.
