The Duke was my entry for NJC #58: Historical Characters. This is another example of a custom that has been around long enough to have been WIP'd in different Joe styles: I first got the head from Dream at the 2007 Atlanta GIJCC, and had the custom parted out in ARAH pieces. And then it sat around for years. When NJC #58 was issued, I went looking for the figure parts, only to discover the head was missing! So, I gave Dream a shout, and behold, he still had a couple left over! By this time, I was working in 25th style, and Wild Bill was an easy choice. On a different note, this is only the 4th custom I've made that I've given away.
