Entire Figure: Copperhead V1

Marsh Vipers are part of Constrictor's jungle/swamp team. They go into the nastiest environments, and support themselves for as long as they need, relying on the jungle/swamp as a grocery store, armory, and home.

Each must pass Range-Viper training, and then spend 6 months with Croc-Master. If they are successful, they finally get a much deserved re-breathing unit. At that point the combination of hot weather, heavy loads and questionable companions has earned them the nickname, "Stench Vipers". Well, not in front of them, of course.

_______

I think that Copperhead deserved a better shake than what was given. He was neon green before neon was cool (?) and his remake had a bright yellow waist.

This was also my first experiment with spray enamel. It turned out ok, but enamel stays tacky, and I will have to apply a clear coat if I want to handle these much. I would really advise against using it in if you have a spray acrylic, but it does give a nice over all thin coverage, and is fairly durable. I taped the elbows with medical tape to prevent overspray and the lines ended up very clean.

The brown that I used was my favorite bottle of paint ever. It was Modelmaster Acryl Rust, before they changed the acryl formulation. This paint was so easy to use, and always looked perfect in one coat. It eventually dried out, but I used a lot of brown when I had it.

Notice the differences in belts? One got smudged, and the clean up never quite looked right. I also wish that I could have worked in a Cobra Symbol, but they just don't make them the right color for this fig...
