The machine gun attachment is a conglomerate of a Star Wars Destroyer Droid gun, the front end of a GI Joe machine gun, and the ammo string from a Terminator figure.

As there are several versions of Overkill's past, I am making up my own.

Overkill is the commander of all of Cobra's Battle Android Troopers, aka B.A.T.s. Details on his origins are sketchy at best and Cobra does not release any information on its "experimental" projects. The only information gathered on him came from a Cobra scientist defector who died suddenly during debriefing of an apparent implanted kill device. Before he died, he reported Overkill began as a captured soldier, most likely a GI Joe greenshirt, who was systematically tortured and experimented on until he was more machine than man and completely detached from his former identity. The scientist reported they did detect tiny traces of insubordination during his final tests, but it was not above the threshold to keep him from active duty.
