Ransack is G.I. Joe's answer to Firefly. Firefly works best at night. Ransack prefers to raid and sabotage Cobra stronghold during day light. He hates hiding in the shadows and likes to see Cobra troops in panic and running for cover while he detonates his explosives. Cobra Commander was responsible for his father's death that is why his hatred for Cobra if unquenchable.

Ransack shares his room with his pet monkey named Monkey. Even though Monkey creates so much mess and turns their room into a jungle, he stays as Ransack's best buddy. The Joe team couldn't place him in a proper animal shelter because he is a very useful pet in the battle field. He helps Ransack plant bombs and creates hilarious things to distract the enemy. Sometimes Monkey is even smarter than Ransack!
