Scoop is one of those figures that is hard to translate into a more updated style that won't look completely silly.
He's been on my list of figures to try to make a custom of for the longest time, if I could finally figure out a recipe for him. The Renegades Airtight would have been the easy way, but I wanted to try to take the figure in a different direction away from the bright yellow, which I think will be suited better for a planned Lightfoot later in the year.

I decided to go with the Airborne body as a kind of muted look to him, and tossed in some yellow on the vest as an homage. The figure's doo dads are various scraps from a garbage pile i have collected of various parts. I never throw anything away :shifty:
The vest has part of a Scrap Iron launcher control, the holster is from a target military figure, and the computer thing on the legs and arms are from a cut up toy biz Cable. (I think that was from him anyways).

I tried something new with this one, and used a gloss varnish on the helmet and some of the gizmo's on him, to make them look like metal. I'm not sure if I am completely satisfied with the results, as I like the flat colors alot more, but thought I'd give it a shot.
