Tsuruki is a Crane style Kung-Fu master. As a child, he noticed a crane defending its nest from predators. As the crane leapt gracefully among and away from them, it would buffet its wings both to gain elevation and confuse and disorient its enemies. From that, Tsuruki learned the first lesson of Crane Style. Combat, when unavoidable should be swift, natural, and effortless. Now as one of the world's foremost practitioners, he yearns to not only teach but to inspire others the way he was inspired. He frequently allows his opponents to dismiss him due to his age, and then shows them what the "Beat of 1000 wings" feels like.
