Sebastian Abernathy grew up in a small town in the middle of nowhere. He always had a desire to see the world and make something of himself. On his eighteenth birthday he immediately signed up for service in the U.S. Army. He soon found himself knee deep in rice patties crossing the Mei Cong Delta in Vietnam with others his age, fighting and dying for their country.

On one ill fated mission, Sebastian's whole squad was ambushed by the Viet Cong. All but he and another young recruit were gunned down in the heat of battle. Suddenly Sebastian's whole life changed in a matter of seconds.

A grenade was thrown at their position, landing right by the young recruit's feet. Sebastian knocked the recruit out of the way and landed on the grenade. And just when Sebastian's life ended, it began anew.

He heard the medivac's whipping blades. He heard the steady beeps of his life support. Then he heard nothing........

Six months later and half a world away Sebastian awoke for the first time. Nearly half of his body had been amputated. He immediately wanted to go back and repay the folks that had done this to him.

Sebastian started to resent the military. He felt that they just gave him a ribbon and sent him packing, not to return. Sebastian's hatred grew and festered for years. He eventually met up with Cobra and joined immediately. Rechristened "Bludhawk", he immediately set out to make the world pay for his pain. Recently in battle with the Joes, he rediscovered an old comrade. General Bludhawk finally met up with the recruit he had saved the life of.........Duke. Now his hatred is finally focused on the man he blames for killing Sebastian and giving birth to Bludhawk.
