As I was rummaging through my stuff, I was deciding to make a new Voltar custom but needed the right parts. After getting the pieces I need, I started putting him together. In the end it turned out all right.

Now the fun begins...painting. I will start with the helmet. I tried 3 different versions before going with this one. So I took an NVG from Night Viper and cut it and trimmed it to fit the helmet. After that, I needed a head. I do like the way that Hasbro made the new clutch. Besides, it was screaming VOLTAR! So I took it off, trimmed the neck and then connected it to the torso.

Now we move to the torso, I was rummaging and found this torso from the new no o'ring version of the Corps and trimmed the neck part so the body parts can connect together. In addition, I used a cape from the 25th anniversary plus the bracket to add to the uniform.

Arms wasn't hard. I found an old pair of Neo-viper arms that were lying around and decided to use them.

For the test. I needed a small waist. I looked and looked and low and behold I found Baroness' waist.

Upper legs, that was a dead give away. I used an old 25th anniversary legs from a Cobra Trooper. Added a ST holster to the left leg.

Lower leg...that was a challenge. I found an old pair of Blackout legs and used them.

As for the color scheme, i did like the purple color but it was way to bright. It needed to be toned down a bit. So, I went with a flat dark purple color.

As you can see, he is without a doubt one of my favorite customs and I also tried to stay close the the original as I could.
