I had heard that the purple on the SRO Iron Grenadier officer was supposed to be a nod to Voltar, so I figured I might as well take the figure the rest of the way and customize him into a reimagining of the Iron Grenadiers' general.

The head was one I'd been using on my SpyTroops Sergeant Major custom, but something about it felt even more right for Voltar.

When I posted the first pic to the critiques forum, a couple of folks suggested I go ahead and add some hi-tech eye/head gear to really lock the custom into the character. So I whipped up the alternate head, which enables me to do a battlefield Voltar and a garrison Voltar for dio purposes.
