The cover of Marvel's GI Joe Issue #47 is one of the greatest of the entire run. I remember the first time reading it when I was 10 years old, and not just for the dramatic turns the story takes. The cover just always struck me. Wanting to do a custom homage to this cover has been on my list of things to do for a long time, and it's finally complete, with a custom version of the Devilfish, Beach Head, Hawk and Wet-Suit. The main thing about this custom is that the lower face of v7 Wet-Suit was grafted onto a v1 figure, so that he would appear as he did on the cover.
