For most of the figures I make, they are in a setting where G.I, Joe is no more. The timeline of the good old days for the Joes would have been in the 90's and early 00's. If Steeler was a young buck officer as a Joe during that time frame, he's now a seasoned hard-ass. All the former Joes I "recruit" for the new org are a bit bitter about having lost to Cobra and having the unit disbanded.

The same older angry effect is one I went for with Flint as well. So for me, Steeler here probably left the Army a few years back, retiring as a Major, then came back and joined up with EXCAL with the chance to command the armor division and get some retribution. So I actually purposely went for the older and less regulation look, for what I wanted, but while also hopefully making a figure that was unmistakably Steeler.
