Mercer was amazingly awesome in the GI Joe 87 movie. Sadly I don't think he has ever really been used correctly since. There was just something so tough about this guy and I really wanted to try and nail his as much as possible. My JvsC version is still one of my favorites but I wanted to try and get this as close to the classic version but with some modern day sensibilities.

I also love this comic pack Hawk head for Mercer. I felt that Robert Patrick about 10 years ago would have made a great Mercer and felt that this head resembled him pretty closely.
