Steel Brigade Aviation support is an area soldiers must have to be eligible to be considered for Sky Patrol. These Soldiers cover everything from Ground support, Munitions handling and Flight deck operation and Aircraft carrier support to Piloting Attack copters or Transport helicopters, as well as Air support with A-10 Warthogs and other fixed wing craft. General Hawk implemented the program as a test bed to determine where the soldiers are best suited to support the Rest of the unit. Sky Patrol is currently the only Sub-team that has a unit. However DEF, Night Force, Tiger force are also considering adding their own programs to give new recruits the tools and experience early on so they can consider entering into a focused platoon like Tiger force.
