I never knew anything about Ares until Dark Reign and Siege. He quickly became a favorite of mine through the way he played Osborne's game with some degree of ambiguity, and then finally saw through the lies. Also in his relationship with his son, Phobos.

His demise was tragic indeed.

This was a fun custom to work on, and it wouldn't have happened without Kilcarr's brilliant suggestion (and supply) of the helmeted head.
