Stealthy in their approach, the Cobra Recon Troopers gather intelligence on the vulnerability of opposing forces to be later exploited by Cobra Trooper attacks. Well equipped for self-defense, these troopers' mission requires complete secrecy, however, and once the battle is joined, they slither off rather than engage enemy forces directly.

Greetings! I am a first-timer and for years I have had fun customizing action figures large and small. I am a big fan of the RAH theme and I enjoy customizing and sharing techniques with fellow collectors. I look forward to mingling with the contributors and fans on this page and I hope you enjoy these Recon Troopers. They were imagined by me to fill a niche in the Cobra ranks. To paint the uniforms, I applied camouflage blotches using gray, blue and black paint. I deliberately avoided painting spots which would cover the insignia or rub off at joints while posing. I sprayed a coating of clear matte spray over each figure after painting. Too, have a small collection of bags and pouches which I have cast using Alumilite Amazing Mold Putty and Amazing Casting Resin to add to my custom figures. I placed these in conjunction with belts and straps already molded in the figure's original sculpt. This shortcut allows me to change the purpose of the figure without altering it too much.
