Cobra discovered a cancer cure manufactured by a private pharmaceutical company. Cobra chemists can harness it into a biological weapon. Cobra Commander hired Felicia Hardy, the Black Cat to steal the cure. Black Cat accepted it because of the huge payment Cobra offered. But when the Black Cat discovered that Cobra would use it to turn people into Zombies, the Black Cat ran away with the cure. Cobra troops trapped the Black Cat in an abandoned warehouse, only to find out that it was a trap set up the G.I. Joe team and the Black Cat to stop Cobra from acquiring the cure once and for all.
