Finally gaining his father's trust Alexander McCullen was given command of The Iron Grenadiers. Alexander secured a deal with Cobra Commander to set up a MARS facility on Cobra Island. On the island, Alexander was able to manufacture and sell weapons of all grades worldwide thanks to the protection of Cobra. When Cobra Commander III took control of Cobra, he brought his associate along to run the facility and command the IG troops on the island. Once thought to be dead, Alexander's cousin Darklon now has control of the Iron Grenadiers and now Alexander has to answer to him.
