One of the few remaining Rock Vipers, Landslide wasn't surprised to see his specialty on the chopping block for Cobra Commander III. He was surprised to be offered a spot with the new Python Patrol unit. He initially turned down the offer from Snake Eater, because he had did not want to be a face to be eliminated. He felt that his spot as a trooper was safer and that he stood a better chance of surviving as a member of the masses. He was finally convinced by Mech that the team needed an expert such as himself. Although no one is sure how he will react when he learns of the teams true intentions.
