Springfield looks like any other small city in the U.S. It hides dark secrets in its lower poverty areas and port. The PD is no exception with corruption and brutality running rampant among its officers.

Detective Lawless spent his early years undercover with local street gangs and other areas. He was even incarcerated for 3 years to keep his cover intact. After taking down a ruthless drug cartel he has returned to the PD and works with his new partner. He is one of the few remaining good cops left in Springfield, a nice place to live.
