The Apmhidorians are an alien race from the planet Amphidora. For many years, the Amphidor elders and explorers search for other forms of life and inhabitable planets in various galaxies, not to conquer but to learn from and co-exist. They were successful in discovering a few including Earth.
The Amphidorians' first contact with human life was with the Aztec many years ago. The strongest among their human specimens were subjected to Genetic Splicing. The Amphidorians infused part of their genes into human DNA. Few years later, the offspring of those test subjects, who were all born on a Xenoday, manifested above human strength, heightened senses and immunity to diseases. The Amphidorians were surprised; they did not expect this to occur. The genetic alterations were only intended to give humans the ability to understand their language, the Ultravox, and make them immune to diseases. But somehow, the combination of the genes transformed men into super humans.

A faction of the Amphidorians grew very concerned and they have tried to kill the super humans, but the super humans fought back. The turmoil ended when both parties came to a peaceful truce. But a small group of treacherous Amphidorians secretly poisoned all the super humans, except for one, who was rescued by an Amphidorian officer named Je'Phree. Je'Phree allowed the lone super human to escape to the west.

All super humans believed to be dead, the Amphidor explorers continued to live in secrecy on Earth while they acquire resources and help mankind to further develop their civilization.

In some parts of the world, the Amphidorians were even considered as gods, and for many years, those humans who knew about Amphidorians' existence were at peace with the alien race and co-existed with them. Je'Phree and his crew made sure that all traces of their existence were covered up and / or stay hidden from the eye of the general human population. And then man learned how to create the Atom Bomb and was able to walk on the moon. The Amphidorian High Council was alarmed. The Amphidorians witnessed how humans go to war with each other and with human's new warfare and space discoveries; they have become a threat to the Amphidor Race. The Amphidorian High Council declared a technological conquest on Earth but the traditionally peaceful Amphidorians objected, thus, the birth of the great divide. Je'Phree who sided with the peacekeepers led the defense against the council's covert technological assault on Earth. For years, Je'Phree and his crew were able to slow down the council's destabilization attempts and managed to help humans continue their scientific discoveries. But when NASA discovered the planet Amphidora which NASA named Keppler B-22, it led to a full military preparation of the Amphidorian armed forces to invade Earth. Jephree and the Peacekeepers had no choice but to inform the U.S. Government about the situation, thus, H.A.T.E. (Hazardous Alien Threat Eradicators) was formed.

With H.A.T.E., G.I. Joe and the lone descendant of Aztec super humans on their side, Je'Phree and the Amphidorian Peacekeepers now have enough power to stop the threat of the Amphidorian invaders even if the Amphidorian invaders have joined forces with the ruthless terrorist organization known as Cobra.
