I've always been a fan of history, so Serpentor was an interesting character to me. I liked him in the comics as he was well written there. I remember when I first read the comic thinking he was going to end up working for the Joes because Dr. Mindbender used Ripcord's memories when creating him. He didn't, but that would've been a great twist.

This version is my take on his first appearance before he got the weird snake skin armor.
