Great Puma is the hidden boss of Pro Wrestling for the NES. To face him, you have to get the title, and successfully defend it 10 times. Being a boss from the old school "screw you kid" camp, he can use the special moves of any other character in the game.

Great Puma is the reigning titleholder of the VWA Heavyweight belt. In a surprising move, he has held onto the belt even after the VWA's merger with the AAWF saying that only a true champion deserves a shot at combining the two promotion's championships. Puma's true identity is unknown, and he generally only appears at special events (the last being Sgt. Slaughter's return to the ring for charity), but when he does, it's a match for the ages. Lately, his manager has been teasing a return, as Giant Panther has successfully defended his title 8 times since gaining the AAWF Heavyweight Championship. Time will tell if these titans of the ring will square off, and who will win if they do . . .
