Leatherneck was seemingly born a Marine, it was encoded in his DNA. When he isn't taking a bite out of Cobra, he's one of the toughest drill sergeants on Paris Island, which is where he initially caught the attention of Sgt. Slaughter. Leatherneck demands the best from the men he trains and he always leads by example.

Leatherneck's uncouth and abrasive, so he's not the best at making friends. However, what he is the best at is chasing down snakes waist deep through the swamp with his M16 in his hands and a ka-bar in his mouth, which makes him a perfect addition to the Sarge's new Marauders team.
