Head: ARAH Footloose
Chest/back: DCIH- The Question
Arms, hands: 25A Wild Bill
Waist, legs: DCIH- Commissioner Gordon

Design:

Hector Ramirez appeared in the Sunbow cartoon as an investigative journalist. The character was clearly modeled after Geraldo Rivera.

There have been some really solid customs of this character. The older ones were usually made out of mostly Indiana Jones parts mixed with Henry Jones parts plus various heads. Newer ones have used Destro/Professor Xavier bodies.

I started on this figure a decade ago, but wasn't happy with a suit design until I used the recipe for my Tomax and Xamot customs earlier this year. That recipe was a Question front/back, Ace/Wild Bill 25A arms (with various hands), and Belloq legs. I used Commissioner Gordon legs for Hector Ramirez and kept the Ace/Wild Bill hands.

The figures legs move at the waist, but not enough to sit down or really pose, so it's a trade off. They look good standing on a shelf and that's all I need.

Colors & Paint:

I avoided the dark blue suit worn in the cartoon because it's too close to the blue I used on my Dr. Vandermeer custom. It would also be too close to a suit worn by Tomax or Xamot. I instead used a medium grey, but I did keep the cartoon's lavender tie.

Sculpting & Modifying:

The neck was cut off of the head. The bottome of the head was tapered and then glued to the top of the torso and blended. The knee pin holes were smoothed with epoxy.

Thanks for looking.
