Character:

Iron Anvils were the drivers of the IRON Panther tanks in the Sgt. Savage & His Screaming Eagles era of GI Joe.

Design:

The Tele-Viper arms and legs matched nicely with the original design. The other parts were in the ballpark.

Colors & Paints:

The original figures were two toned. Here I've switched it over to grey to match the Iron Stormtrooper customs I made, which were also switched over to grey.

Sculpting & Modifying:

The communications gear is sculpted over the head. To correct the New Sculpt proportions, the chest/waist was extended by adding a "spine". The gap was then filled with epoxy and sculpted. The Snow Serpent back was unusually flat, maybe to accommodate the fur shawl that came with the figure originally, so I used epoxy to add mass to the shoulder blades. The webgear straps had to be resculpted. The custom is held together with wire instead of an o-ring, as an o-ring wouldn't be replaceable after it would dry rot.
