Character/Design:

Originally released in New Sculpt format, Ghost Bear was the end-of-the-process figure that began as Son of Kwinn. Ghost Bear looked like a Firefly/Snake-Eyes hybrid with strange orange hair; Son of Kwinn looked like he might actually be Kwinn's son. The Son of Kwinn design Hasbro started with is much more interesting than Ghost Bear. But Ghost Bear isn't necessarily a bad character, especially if paired with Son of Kwinn.

I started on a Son of Kwinn figure beginning w ARAH parts, so I decided to make Ghost Bear and Son of Kwinn as a set of siblings. The ARAH parts for Ghost Bear roughly mimic the New Sculpt parts and give him big thunder thighs, like his daddy's. Instead of a masked head, I used a Quick Kick head to show Ghost Bear unmasked.

Colors & Paints:

Based on the NS figure. The metallic of the NS figure was on the goggles, but here I've expanded it to the grenades, ammunition, and mini-crossbow on the arm.

Sculpting & Modifying:

The hair on the forehead was removed. The forehead was rebuilt with epoxy, and then the slicked-back hair was added on. The new hair is sculpted from both paper and epoxy.

The arm rivets and thigh screw insets are epoxied smooth.
