Sometime in the future, there once existed a threat to the Action Man Space Rangers' conquered region of space. They were known as Captain Zargon and his Zargonites. Captain Zargon, the mercenary space pirate, was known for his cybernetic body, devastating laser saber and his deadly stingray eyes. He was cunning, remarkable at planning and a thorn in the side of the Space Rangers Captain.

Captain Zargon never viewed himself as evil but simply making it easier for those who hired him to get what they wanted. Whether it was wealth, resources, people or an object of significant importance, once the payment was good, Zargon would not ask any questions. This did not exempt him for having a moral code as space pirates normally had: Codes to properly operate in the seedy underbelly of space. For example, Zargon hates slavery of any kind, especially towards children. He will destroy it if it exists.

However, that life was a long time ago. Now a retired grandfather and happy drunk, Zargon is a local storyteller living free in the middle of nowhere. He made his wealth and left the business while he was still free. Wild nostalgic memories of the good old days still linger. He has long accepted the peace in his life. However, he knows the day will come once again when he'll be brought back into action. He'll be ready.
