Ariel was a princess with magical powers on a post apocalyptic earth. She along with her two companions Thundarr and Ookla battle evil forces. I always thought after seeing the Thundarr cartoon and the World's Without End GI Joe episodes where the Joes go into a future alternate reality where Cobra has won the war that the Joes could easily have traveled to a future reality where Thundarr lived.
