Pathfinder was one of my favorite figures from the 1990 assortment, which says something because that was my favorite year as there were so many excellent new additions to the Joe team. I've always been a huge fan of jungle troopers more so than any other environmentally specific figure. I think that has a lot to do with how easy it was to turn the grass in my backyard into a jungle vs. desert, or having to wait for snow to break out the arctic guys.

The idea behind this figure was to keep the same basic look as his original figure, but give him a look that could fit in well with any earlier or later assortment.
