Character/Design:

The Bad Guys were the villains introduced by Remco in 1982. They were made of repainted Sgt. Rock parts, molded in black uniforms. Remco's non-Nazi rivals for its Sgt. Rock line, they were even brazen enough to fight your M*A*S*H action figures. I've wandered off into many non-Joe lines at this point. MASK/VENOM, Eagle Force/RIOT, Johnny Quest, Centurions, James Bond, Action Man/Council of Doom, and even Marvel's Tony Stark. Some of those strain logic a bit to get into a GI Joe continuity. But The Bad Guys? They fit as snuggly as Eagle Force/RIOT. The Bad Guys are mercenaries eager to make some coin.

For Snake, the eyepatch, mustache, and beret were the most important elements. The Stalker head provides the beret, although it gives Snake hair instead of being bald.

Colors & Paint:

Based on the Remco action figure, so there's black, black, and more black.

Sculpting & Modifying:

The pouches are push molds. The midriff articulation gap and thigh insets screws are epoxy filled. The back of the hair is also sculpted from epoxy.
