Character/Design:

Hammer Head was the bald, shirtless member of The Bad Guys.

Given the aquatic-themed name, I've made a big design change to Hammer Head. Instead of wearing trousers, he's now shirtless with a wetsuit lower and equipped as such. This is probably the biggest overhaul I'll be giving to any of The Bad Guys, at least for what are considered the standard eight. (I have a few "bonus" figures planned if there's time left in 2022!)

This helps him mesh with my custom Shark, which will sport a molded-on underwater breathing device on his torso.

Hammer Head's scuba gear is provided by Adventure People. It's exceptionally dated, and doesn't even come close to resting against the face properly. It totally fails if photographed at the wrong angles- but it's awesome anyway.

The Captain Atom hands were properly scaled to the arms, but I had to replace them with the oversized Baron Fel ones to cheat the length a bit.

Colors & Paint:

Based on the Remco figure. Black, plus a few gold color pops.

I didn't paint on any eyebrows to give Hammer Head a more intense look.

Sculpting & Modifying:

The head is a cast (General Colton, maybe?) by Star Wars Geek. The belt is cut from a Ric Ollie skirt. The head is blended to the body at the neck. The knee pins are epoxy filled and smoothed.
